Stress can often manifest itself in different ways, such as irritability or simply not being able to focus.

If you are experiencing issues like this then you should try and listen to some relaxing music.

Other things you can try include meditating, so you can enhance the quality of sleep you are getting. If you can do this then you will soon find that it is easier for you to switch off and get back on track.

2. Appetite Fluctuations

If you just want to park yourself on the sofa all day or if you just can’t bear the thought of dragging yourself out of bed then this is a major sign that something has to change.

You need to make sure that you have a sense of purpose and that you take time out to identify what is triggering your feelings.

You also need to seek help and ask your friends to see if they can give you more support. If you can do this then you are bound to see an improvement in your mental health.

4. Hard Time Making Decisions

A lot of people find themselves having to think for a few extra minutes sometimes when making decisions. With that in mind, if you are under a constant level of stress, making any kind of decision at all can seem like a monumental test.

If you are finding it very tough to think rationally or if you are struggling to evaluate the different sides to the decision you are making then this is a major sign you need to take some time for yourself. If you don’t then the issue will worsen, which will put you in an even more difficult position later down the line.

5. Your Oral Hygiene is Bad

If you don’t brush your teeth as much as you should or if you find that you are just not able to keep up with a good routine then this is another sign that things are just too much for you right now. If you want to help yourself then the first thing you need to do is go and see your dentist.

They can work with you to pinpoint what issues you could be having while also working with you to help you uncover any health issues you may be having.

If you have gum sensitivity then this can be treated for example. Of course, lack of oral hygiene, or hygiene in general sometimes comes down to you simply not having the time to commit.

You may find that you are constantly rushing out the door and that you simply don’t have time to shower or brush your teeth.

If this is the case then you need to start putting your health first. If you don’t then this can lead to you being run down, which can make you more susceptible to colds and other illnesses.
